Powerhouse 2008

I'm there...summer is comin' soon!

Playoffs Time

Love him or hate him, Kobe Bryant is the most talented player in the league. This year he posted 28.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 5.4 apg, with A BROKEN FINGER. People forget that before Pau Gasol came to Los Angeles, Kobe carried the Lakers through the first half of the season with one good hand (the rest of the Lakers cast had yet to establish themselves as reliable contributors). Plus, he torched the Spurs for 28 points and 10 rebounds tonight.

Secondly, go cop these authentic NBA shorts:

They sell for 109.99 on the NBA store website, although most teams go on sale after the season (especially teams who fail to make the playoffs). These are the shorts your NBA heroes rock during games, and they are the most comfortable shorts I've ever worn. Holla

Summer II

I was sooo juiced off a 20 point Lakers comeback that I decided to hit you up with another post for CPC. Most of this stuff is off the MishkaNYC website, but you can find the rest off the 10Deep website (see sidebar for links).

Go Lakers!

Summer Stylin'

Summertime is here (for some of us), which means that everybody's gettin ready to hit the beach and the strip to show off. Down here in Los Angeles, it's been scorchin' hot (hitting 90 a couple times this week) so in honor of the temperatures we are here to deliver some hot new styles:

Nike Windbreaker: (on sale now at Caliroots.com)

My predictions for the NBA Finals:

Lakers beat Detroit in an '03 rematch in 7 games (Kobe for Finals MVP)

On Another Note:
During the first round of the playoffs, commentators and NBA analysts all were criticizing Steve Kerr for pulling the trigger on the Marion-Shaq trade and claiming that it ran contrary to team philosophy and style. Don't forget that MARION REQUESTED TO BE TRADED (a la Joe Johnson). Anytime a player doesn't want to be a part of a team, he should be gone. period.
