Yesterday was a defining moment in my life. To be clear, I wasn't a Barack Obama supporter from the beginning of his campaign, and I didn't know for certain, until last night, that he was the right man for the job. But that speech, and seeing the way people reacted to him, that was something special. Politics aside, I think that he symbolizes important ideals for the country and for the people of the United States. To see that the minority son of an immigrant could become the first black president of the United States only 40 years after MLK was shot was really amazing, and inspiring. Whether or not Obama is the savior that some claim him to be, I think that this was a turning point for the country and a night that I'll remember for the rest of my life.
on a side note: THANK GOD....
